Yes I got to pick it up. The finish is fine, there is nothing wrong with it. The lamp is one solid piece.

did you get to touch it though.. we dont have any place that sells this stuff around here that i ever see..

I would love to see it off base and how it works... as of course i cringe at this base finish..but nothing a paint job wouldn't cover..
