Mine had a slight dye leak, but it cleared up. Just painted the base and cap black last night. So its now a midnight!! Looks great. Will post pics later

Mine has a dye leak, but the liquid is crystal clear. It's actually a really nice shade.I have run it for almost 14 hours, forgot it was on, and still was flowing nicely.

Its pretty epic. I'm going to paint the base and cap black and turn it into a midnight this week. Will post pics.

Its a 250oz. Its a new one, only had it a year and a half, maybe two. All the new china lamps suck, guess I just got lucky with this one. I returned the first one I bought because there were too many imperfections in the glass. This one has a couple small ones (you can see at the bottom of the globe) but overall is a great lamp.

My only complaint is I wish it had a midnight base and cap. Might have to do a paint job, never painted one before so i'm not sure how it will turn out, any tips?

From what I read a lot of these had bad bleed. Mine has slight bleed, but the water is pretty much crystal. If i put it in the sun for a couple weeks I'm sure it will clear 100%
