This bad boy will remain dormant until a new globe arrives next week. A slab of black granite and the table will be added at a later date. :)

Jethro, the globe has a 6 inch defect towards the bottom, close to the base and heat source. It worried me, as some suggested a weakness in the glass could cause the globe to crack. Also just visually displeasing.

And I hear you Tim. I debated over the course of a couple weeks on my color choice. Guess I was willing to take a chance. Although I'd hate to have to filter this monster. 0.o
