This globe is running off the stock 25w reflector. It seems to run perfect on this base/bulb after about 30-45 minutes. I did not fill myself, I ordered the filled globe from Kirk when he announced the large holo cut squares. Still running strong a year later! I need to get his strand glitter now, in some teal liquid.
Vox, I have a red metallic clearview and the flow is less then acceptable. I want to do a glitter with it. Haze and I chatted at brief length about the Clearviews possibly not throwing enough heat for the glitter. What wattage bulb are you running in that? I had to order a 30 watter for my clearview online because the stock 25 it came with took too long for it to flow. Also, did you do the fill yourself?
I love this!!!
I can picture how this looks IRL, love the light show on the wall.
Well, you have enlightened me with the name noctilucent clouds, thank you for that! It does give that feel with the light and dark that the glitter forms. Colors reflecting off of the pieces adds a nice vibrancy into the eyes.
Reminds me of noctilucent clouds, very dreamy.
I was in the same boat, little glitters didn't seem to do much for me. This thing will make you stare at it and get lost in its colors.
I have been wanting a glitter lamp, but found they weren't sparkly enough. And then .... BAM! Saw this. Wow.
It is stunning in person Leigh, highly recommended! His grande has to be incredible live!
So beautiful. I want one!
