Color-Changing Lava! 3
And here are both lamps in full flow. I wish the blue/purple one showed up better! The Purple totally doesn't want to show itself in these pictures, but in person it's definitely blue AND purple, just like the one on the right is both green and violet.

That looks a lot like it! The blue dye that I use goes a bit purple at certain saturations...it's weird. At very low saturations, it makes light blue. If you go a bit heavier with the blue, it looks purple. If you really saturate it, it looks blue again. ??? Maybe Mathmos uses similar dyes?

Hey thats like my blue mathmos jet .. it also has purple in the wax and i have a hard time taking pictures of that too ..
