I really love how this turned out! I think it's the same as vintage strand glitter, but I can't be sure without a side-by-side. I also, just as an experiment, put some color transparencies on the bottom of the globe. They look great, and after 6 hours running, the color is still lasting! Huge thanks to Jack for the reminder about that! Autumn, I can easily take this off before I ship this lamp, if you still want it, but I couldn't resist the opportunity to experiment with some vintage style glitter with a vintage style color overlay.

Gorgeous... you are a craftsman/artist Loren.
Aw, you guys are awesome. :D
And I am proud to think that I might be the person who first made strand glitter commercially available in the US...although with parts imported from China...and although on a tiny scale. Only took 40 years! :p
It's totally dreamy...Loren's Lamps are the best!
I did, REALLY cool! lamp. Must be awesome to watch!
Hey Frank did you see Loren's stars one ?
No Problem! Really love the strand glitters, only have 1 in my collection as I said it is from France. Do not know of any USA versions only France and UK versions. Really cool to watch these lamps in action.
Whoo!! Thanks for your help!
Hey Loren, Just checked you video, it runs really great!! similair to my French version, well done!
Thanks, Frank! If you have time sometime, could you look at the video I posted of this lamp running, and let me know how close I got? I'm sure different vintage strand glitters ran differently, but I'd still like to know if it's a viable replacement for a shot vintage glitter. I've never seen a real one in person!
BEAUTIFUL!! Loren I have a French glitter with these strands in Silver.
