Not a custom, though I am not sure how long these were a thing. If I remember correctly, Haggerty China sold them for a short time alongside the black one around the time they were selling those glitter & lava table lamps with the plastic shades and cylinder globes. They had a silver and a wood grain finish for those as well.

Thats grate - didn't know they even made a wood grain model, I thought it was a custom job at first.
