This base can accept up to 30W R39 reflectors without smoking, but the lamp worked great even with a 25W R50 reflector, which are cheaper to come by. The bottle is from Ben Bracken Highland Speyside single malt scotch, only sold in LIDL discount stores in Europe ;-)
