Elec-tricks 3

Whelp...it's official. I'm past the point of no return. I've started on the third pack of pop tarts, and I might as well finish the box. :-/ I'll probably never find the red, yellow, purple, and both green ones in a million years...but maybe! I would love to have them all, with clear liquids exclusively. I think that would look neat!

Comment by Tim on January 29, 2015 at 4:18pm: I have two red/white 32z globes but they did not come with the electric bases. I think $100 is too much to pay for that lamp but if someone wants it bad enough then they will pay!

It was only because of the kindness of a couple members that I scored the last two for what I did, which was a very affordable price. The orange one, however, I paid about $75 for, shipped. I'm not really able to do that for the rest of these, at least not right now. The last time I saw a red one, it wasn't even blessed with a red/white globe...it was clear/red, and the lamp, with shipping, was $100. I could do $40-$50, you know? But $100? Nope.

Comment by Keith on January 28, 2015 at 9:25pm: The good news is that I have seen nearly all models of lava lamp available on ebay since I started looking regularly in 2008. The not so good news is that it takes MONEY to buy them lol. But with patience and a little luck you should be able to find them eventually. I have been looking for a red swirl for a while, had two on the line at different times but had to let them go because of money. One will come around again at the right time.

Now that I've found that one, it seems like the others should be easier...I hope so! I'd love to be able to get the yellow one with original neon yellow paint and lava next!
