The silicone has to cure or set (dry out and harden) for a week before I can run it. I just turned it on.

What do you mean by curing, Chow? I have noticed that the glitter in my Consort (the one from the Oozy Tube) has little flakes of...something in there. Looks like dust or paper fibers or something. It's hardly noticeable unless you're really up close, so I'm not going to mess with it. Yours looks good!

So I had 5 32oz glitters with various issues (low fluid, low glitter, and such) so I made a glitter head instead of a lava head and filled my capri with the leftovers. I still a another day of curing before I can run it.

It took about 80% of an Oozy Goo (or whatever they're called) to fill this one. And bonus, the newer glitters aren't as toxic as the old ones.

Ive got a capri that has the same problem. I might do the glitter like you. Did it take one or two of those to fill?

@ Chow, I also tried to refill with an old Carlisle and it still wouldn't flow. Good to see someone got one going! Great collection, too!

I used a vintage 52 oz to fix mine. It's on the bottom left.

Oh, and -- you have the early Consort! Wood basses, real American walnut. Put a bit of mineral oil or teak oil on a cloth and rub that base, and it'll glow as brightly as the globe!
