Comment by Brad on November 14, 2012 at 12:41am: i hope it lasts more than a year! after cycling both lamps, the flow is much better. adding more surfactant to both lamps yielded more columns and oblong shapes rather than all globes. the flow is out of this world! i would say that it rivals the flow of a mathmos lamp. i am 100% satisfied.

i am having some issues with the 32oz, though. when the wax heats up, some sticks at the top. as others have suggested, it may be getting too hot. i need to find a dimmer.

also - i added more wax to both lamps since the photo above. it's a little bit more than i'd like, but it still looks great.

Are you planning to dye the wax at all?
