And it even spikes! I have never, ever seen this lamp run so well, nor seen it this clear for more than 1 run. I've tried to restore this lamp 4 times. The first few times never worked at all. When I finally got it to flow again, it didn't spike at all, got full of bubbles, and the water got cloudy again after only 3-4 runs, THIS time I used fog fluid from the party store (not the stuff from Walmart) with a little added pure glycerine, and a tiny drop of clear dish soap. For so long now, I have wanted this lamp to run right. I have NEVER seen it look so good! I'm stoked!

Thank you, everybody! I've been wanting a new lamp for so long, but just couldn't swing it. Fixing this thing finally is like getting that new lamp I've been wanting!
Absolutely gorgeous, Loren! Great job!
Very nice, Loren!
Again, I used very little water. If This were just about any other lavalite, it would not take NEARLY that much fog fluid, and probably zero glycerin. It might not even need any clear dish soap, but if it does, stay away from dawn clear dish soap! Go with palmolive pure, or ivory clear soap.
Okie dokie i have the Glycerine . I wonder if that combination would work for the Grande i just emptied . do you think it would effect the wax to the point it would be useless if it didnt work ? what ratio glycerine do you think you used to juice ?
whoa cool !
I did not add any water, except a tiny bit to mix with the surfactant. It's all fog juice, and pure glycerine. I will take some pictures and post them in a few minutes. :)
ok you said "PURE " fog solution and "pure " glycerine . those you put in with your distilled water correct ? can you post a photo of the 'fog juice ' container and ingredients label so i can find it somewhere ?
Absolutely beautiful - looks stunning.
