Stripped down an old Playboy™ glitter pillar that was pink with silver bunny heads. Gave my wife the base and cap to put together a nice homage to H.R. Giger.
Polymer clay was used to build the design that wraps the complete base and cap. Enamel painted black with a nice icing of gloss top coat. Thank you to my wife, she is quite the craft queen!

Thanks Modulo, I was wondering too. I mean... I don't think I even need to mention it
Thanks Keith, it is a very unique lamp now!
Very creative!!
I agree Pete, I think this branched out into the art world, thank you for the love!! Rob, coming from a fellow Giger fan many thanks for the cheers and thank you for the wickedness Verax!! I was thinking the same thing with size Carol, a HUGE clay canvas! You should get artsy with your dented ones now, that polymer clay is pretty sweet stuff!
She is so excited with the love you all have shown, it has made the effort even more worthwhile!
P.S. she would have luved my bashed up stuff, haahaahaa!!!!!
Wow, a Grande base!!! She will have a blast with that one....more space to work with!! Can't wait for pics!!!
Wicked! Nice work!
I am a hardcore Giger fan, and that is an awesome interpretation of his art. Out-freaking-standing.
Is it craft or is it art !.... I love it :)
