This is a Fantasia Mystery that I purchased on Ebay recently.
It is a 13 " black Lucite cube with a Fantasia Firefly embedded into the top that is covered by a glass globe that is 16" in diameter.

Thanks for this, yes I saw the reflective role for the Lucite, but hadn't picked up on the new sleeve - really cool.
and yes, the spray has to fill the globe for the concept to work visually.
it grows on you.
The Lucite cube is glossy black and reflects light well.
A Fantasia Firefly is attached to a circular metal piece on top of the cube that has a ridge to hold the glass globe is place.
I replaced the dull black sleeve on my Firefly with a gold ribbed sleeve instead.
The original spray that came with the lamp was in poor condition and it did not fill the globe very well so I replaced it with a near mint spray from a Cuda Harmony. The spray from a Harmony is larger and fits inside of the globe nicely.
May I ask - does the Lucite cube have any operational function - other than complementing the design?
It's quite extraordinary - like a miniature Cosmos...
simply OUTTA SIGHT! Cosmic too!
YUMMY!
Thanks!
That's the pics I was waiting for (the one including the Lunars too!)
Gorgeous!!!
That is very true James!
Sometimes It is better to not think about it too much, or you will regret forever missing it.
