Yes, Wizard refers to the model. Wizard bases/caps came in black, silver and metallic blue or red. Any lava globe of the 320z. size fits them, thus Wizard glitter globes could be used in any lamp base, Midnight, Starship, Silver Streak, Princess, Elec-Trick, etc.
Yes I find myself watching the lamps instead of the TV, especially if the guys (hubby and 7 boys are watching something I'm not into). So the wizard is orange glitter. Is it 38 or does the 32 on the cap mean something. I also have a purple glitter wizard ( my favorite, super great color), and a wizard that has a black base/top and orange fluid, white lava. Are they called a wizard when they are black? I have 2 blue swirls, one blue fluid w/ white &the other clear fluid w/ white lava. I'm able to have the whole collection lit because my Hubby is a electrician and is supporting my habit with power. :) I have almost 50 lamps and can have them all on at the same time. The power company loves that!

NIce collection (and electric bill heh).
With them sitting near a TV, Do you ever find yoruself watching the lamps instead of the TV?
My Grande's near the TV tend to do that to me. Good for commercials at least
Impressive collection, Stephanie! And yeah, a 38 is a bottle color number. But then, I've been collecting since 1987, been on this site since its early days, and I still don't know most of the color numbers - the new ones, anyway. I know a fair few of the old ones.
The Wizards (conical with star-and-moon perforations) came in lava or glitter, you have two on the far left, and orange is a fairly collectible color in these. I like the purple far better, though it's more common by far. I see a blue swirl too, love those - came in blue, green, red, purple and orange, two globe colors per base color, plus some rare multicolor bases.
