Magic lava

Bought this jet bottle even though I though it was a faded used up lamp. When cold it's faded blue, then turns a deep red and finally this light purple colour, anybody know anything about it. The Jet was black metal, but labelled Mathmos.

Comment by Orbitz on July 23, 2009 at 8:22am: Weird and cool indeed, one of my favorites now, and I almost didn't buy it, the only reason I bought it was that I hadn't found anything from Mathmos in the fleamarkets for over a year, and it was real cheap, just a couple of pounds.

Comment by john on July 23, 2009 at 7:40am: yes this colour is ment to be blue/blue but the blue turns red when lit very cool and mathmos did change the fomula to the blue/blue that we have today. weird but cool at the same time.
