Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

My noob ass ruined the clear/red that was once in this globe, but I replaced it with blue water and flourescent blue wax. When the wax is solid, it indeed glows blue under a black light. However, when it's not under a black light it looks white, and when it's molten it's completely transparent. Totally unexpected in this lamp, but I have to say that I'm happy with it...bubbles and all. The reflections it throws on the wall around it are great! It's like the goo is made of glass. :) I LOVE this one!
