The best way to tell the age is by checking the cap code. It's probably been hiding in the back since at least Halloween.
The sticking is hard to notice when the lamp is running - it's way down at the bottom, by the coil. And sometimes, it just sticks a a little, like a half inch up from the bottom of the globe. Most people probably don't even notice it.
We don't have one. That's why I have to order from the online store. They are very good to replace foggy lamps, but they sent me another one that was even foggier. It was the thought that counted, I guess. Now I have one to practice on!
I do, too. I very much wanted one of these lamps. I might have to check our Spencer's again...
I'm not sure I could even replace the liquid, let alone a sticking problem, Erin. But I do really like these colors, and the 52 oz.
I could even probably handle replacing the liquid, but the sticking issue, I can't deal with.
Ben, I also want one of these very badly, but have been afraid to order from Spencer's online. My two 32 oz. Rainbow lamps were "perfect, " but the 20 oz.neon watermelons were pure milk. This one looks great, but Erin's problems with two of them sort of scares me off too. If I order online, I might get the foggy "leftovers" others have returned.
