I had an extra clear black 32 Oz. globe that I added red food coloring to. It was murky but after filtering looks great! I'll take pics when I have it running again. Also made a blue/purple. Sorry to hear this lamp isn't performing well. :(

Well, I cannot recommend this lamp. Looks like the wax is stuck to the globe pretty much all around the very bottom of the base. BOO. :(

Sweet lamp Erin! I used your filter on my 32 oz. red/black and it's clear as a bell now. Love the blacks. :)

Yep. I opened it up right outside the store. If it was crap, I would have returned it.
