Love them!!! Great Job on these Bill! Very Envious!
im excited and bit anxious, my mathmos refill is due to arrive monday
Thanks Vox! I'm pleased with them for sure.
That is a stunning couple you have there Critter! Beautiful work on the restoration!
Thanks Kirk! I appreciate the kind words from a fellow "Lava Common-Sewer". Yeah I've thought a lot about what you are saying. From here I'm probably going to have to do some custom build (ground up) stuff to be as thrilled.
I seriously considered building an updated version of the Princess/Rocket. Over the past couple of years I've made some interesting connections with people who have the skills to make the parts I would need. I'm just not sure it's worth the investment of time and trouble. The tooling is quite high and I'd probably want to make multiples so as to recover some of the costs involved. However, the price the reproduction would need to sell for would turn off most interested persons. The initial outlay is just so high.
I do have some other ideas in my wax filled head....I guess we'll see where they go. For now I have a handful of vintage lamps to finish restoration on and that will keep me busy.
Beautiful job, Bill. It'll be hard to top, though! Congratulations!
Unbelievably stunning
Theres 2 lamps I'd thought I'd never see together. Wow dude, do i want to know how much that cost to ship to the states? lol
