Wish I would be around in 70 years to see the longevity of this crap they are putting out today.  Maybe it will be best that I will be dead and gone by then! :P  I bet my last Mathmos dollar this stuff wont be around like the true originals that are still around today.  Sad day when Lava Lite thinks this is the level of craftsmanship "we, the buying public", want. Maybe they think "we" just don't care, we will buy your crap anyway?  Just don't know anymore and am sticking to the tried and true "old lamps" or custom configured lamps.

They really are tossing around gimmick lamps huh! I have to say, got a notification about these Bright Source lamps that 'Lifestyle Brands' has partnered with. I am somewhat interested in the silver desk lamp with the turquoise glitter globe!

The store had only one of each and I left them both there. The spider was a 20 oz and I don't bother with 20s. The skull was kinda a fun concept and I liked the skull design but yea....ultimately I passed on it. The Spider theme was $26.99 and the larger 32oz skull theme was $29.99.

It looks like the skull lamp tube/carton actually has a real rendering on it with CRAP flow.

I agree with MaGoo! I don't really care for either one. But thanks for the update on new Spencer's lamps Bill!

I hope that we see some new Grandes come our way in the near future.

Wish lava lite/ new life, whatever they call themselves now, would work on better quality lamps vs. gimmicks!
