Hey Matt thanks for the compliment. Good to see another Floyd fan, I can't wait to see Roger again this summer at Wrigley Field! Anyway I've already came up with a solution for the no light on my UV lamps, I'm using tinfoil ;)

How's it going Dr.? I'm new to the site and just taking everything in. I'm a huge Floyd fan and LOVE your Floyd lamp. Ive seen them a few times in concert, as well as Roger Waters in concert. I noticed that you said you wanted to make your lamp light free so that the uv could do its job. Since lava lamps work on heat and not the actual light, could you use some type of dark paint and paint the bulb? The light would be blocked and the heat would still come through. Just a thought, Matt

Thanks guys still want to make this bad boy light free so the UV can take over but I'm clueless on what to do.
