any tips on how to capture a picture of my lava lamp? my cell phone camera doesn't do it justice. thanks

I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED ONE. NOW, AS A 42 YEAR OLD I HAVE NEVER LOST THE FASCINATION OR SECRET DESIRE TO HAVE MY VERY OWN.... FORTUNATELY A FEW MONTHS AGO I VISITING MY BOSS WHEN I SPOTTED I LAVA LAMP IN HIS GARAGE, I ASKED HIM IF IT WORKED? HE THOUGHT IT DID & ASKED ME IF I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE IT? THE REST IS HISTORY. I LOVE IT, ISSUES & ALL!
