Announcing the OG Leaderboards

Are you the king (or queen) of lava lamps? Make your way to the top of the new OG Leaderboards to show them all that you are the most obsessed GooHead on the planet. Soon, we'll be launching this totally cool feature.

The Leaderboard algorithm recognizes quality participation. Popular content and relevant comments are rewarded. Don't spam the boards with useless posts in an attempt to "game" the system; We're watching. So let's have some fun. Good luck!

Just because someone has a massive collection or is a good collector doesn't nessarley mean they are good on the forum.

Its not really about how many lamps, what they are or the rarity its about how you contribute  and help others out etc.

I thought the Leaderboard would be a listing of who had the most lava lamps.

We can also change it to show leader by either the Day, Week, or Month.  I just switched it from Week to Month for a bit, but I think byt the Week is most fun because you see more movement on the lists.

This is funny to me.  It is like worrying about the mole on Marilyn Monroe's beautiful face.  We launch this totally cool feature and everyone wants to talk about where to put it.  :-)

It definitely does not belong top and center permanently.  I plan on leaving it here for a couple of days since it is such big news and then moving it lower.  It can be more compact and in the right column, but we already have a lot of stuff there.  Where to put it is not a problem.  We'll figure it out.  :-)

I think it should go all the way at the bottom as well under the recent forum part too. Is there a way to make it a little more compact?
