Hi Simon, thanks for the friend's request.  I purchased my Continental many years ago from an old time collector in here.  It was so long ago that I can't even remember his name!  Must have been 10 yrs or more.

know what you mean. i got mine a few years ago when i was a bit better off. no way could i afford one now!

when i go through 'hard up' stages i do look at them and think there is £500 sitting there, but luckily have not had to sell yet.

the white jet is indeed the nicest colour base (IMHO)  ;)

I have got a blue/blue bottle for it but i find it runs hotter then the rest so i am using a silver/clear glitter in it which is rather lovely

I do love blue wax though, my favourite bottle is my blue/clear lunar. Do you have a lunar already? i saw you were asking after Richards :)
