Very nice job! What fluids did you use?
Distilled water, SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate), and propylene glycol (in "fog juice" mix).
SLS powder: 1/4 tsp of SLS for every six ounces of water. Then 10 ml per quart of fluid (approximate).
Emptied globe of all fluid (left wax in); about 60 ml SLS added to globe, then swirled as best I could (wax was moving around also). Filled half way with distilled water then allowed globe to heat. When wax was melted I added fog juice. When flow and temp had stabilized I would add either distilled or juice as needed. When globe was full I added more SLS mix to adjust wax stretch.
The globe is heating again now and I will observe and adjust if needed. My "lava dedicated" turkey baster is standing by if I have to remove any fluid from the globe, lol.
Great job bro, looks nice!
Thanks! It's flowing nicely now, but I want to add more SLS (surfactant) to get smaller blobs, but I don't want to mess it up!
