Well, after some headaches with the system here, its buggyness and all around slugishness, not to mention people have to sign up here to see anything - I moved all my stuff over to Flickr. Yeah, if you don't have an account you need to sign up but 90% of everyone has a Yahoo account.
Anyways, the Fantasia galleries are over there now for all to see and enjoy. I will be adding more and more in the coming week(s). Lately I have been scanning in and editing vintage photos. It's one of my little hobbies. Takes a bit of time but worth it in the end seeing them all available online and to the world!
Does the jagged pattern of the color wheel in the Omni really have a visible effect, the way the patterns on the Love Bug wheel translate onto the fiber sphere? And do any others have any unusual patterns, or do anything else? I know the cut-glass base Crestworth fibre optic had a spring-loaded "flick" color change that would make the wheel jump to the next color.
I don't think so. The spray is not like the Love Bug, Saturn or Alpha (spherical) so it does not have the same visual appeal. I think the pattern is there more to cause the light to "flicker" as it turns and is emitted from the spray. If it were just a solid pattern like the Sunburst wheels, it would be smoother and constant.
The Love Bug is the only one that I am aware of that has the funky pattern on it.
