Goo is sticking to the glass!

This is my second blog about this lamp! I've been working all weekend on it and have gotten nowhere. I'm so confused as to why my lamp has done this. All the lava is lava world, but it's from different lamps. No matter what I do it sticks to the side. I add salt it inches higher up the side, I start over and try to boil out some of the perk it does the same, I add perk, it does the same. Nothing I do effects this goo. I am stumped and frustrated. I've added pics. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Also, if you've got the patience for it, try a butane lighter, kinda like a mini blow torch... and melt it from the outside. I've done it on both of my Grandes, 'cause the wax stuck to both of them...

Thanks for the advice! I mess around a lot with my own goo and this is a constant issue for me. Usually with a lot of experimenting it will just stop and act normal, and then I have no idea what did it! I do know I probably won't add petroleum jelly or mineral oil to anymore projects.
