PROBLEMS WITH MY LUNAR :O(

CIAO!!! My Lunar stops flowing after 4-5 hours ... here's a pic of it .. I tried to turn it off for 5 min and then turn it on again and it starts flowing again .. is it normal? thanx :)

Yeah, maybe. Depends on how you like the lamp to flow. I like very few large blobs so I run them cooler. Other people like more smaller blobs so thay will run them slightly hotter. Mine have been on for about 8 hours today and are on about 25% brightness.

The very, very early lunars had white power cords. Maybe they were the ones that didn't have the dimmers. All the black corded ones did though.

Yeah, Lunars have a different flow to an astro. Like I said before I like a slower flow with less blobs so lunars are perfect for me. Its just personal preference.

Wenn es so aussieht, dann unbedingt etwas runterdimmen, bis das Wachs die Spirale wieder bedeckt.

Also ich kann dir nur aus eigener Erfahrung sagen, dass dieser Zustand nicht lange andauern soll.
Da sonst der Wachs überhitzt. Ich hatte mit Arne gesprochen, der kann sich auch nicht erklären was die Wachsüberhitzung mit dem Ankleben des Wachses zu tun haben soll. Vielleicht hatte meine Flasche damals von Mathmos her einen Schaden. Du schreibst du hast ´ne neue Flasche von Mathmos bekommen, ist die alte denn kaputt, oder wie jetzt?
Kann es sein, dass rechts oben im Bild (in der Flasche) das Wachs schon anklebt?
Wäre nett wenn du mir zurücktexten würdest.
