magic wax?

hi guys i have just seen a ebay listing for a astro with magic wax, is this true or a ploy to mug potential buyers the item number is 180390532930

Hi, yes it is me who is selling the lamp!! The wax changes colour between states. It is a bluey colour when cold and turns into a reddy purple colour when hot. Quite different.

Hi Richard, it is only the second time I have listed this particular lamp. I have sold a few exactly the same in the past. Think the last one went to Germany in fact.

got to be careful nowdays on ebay, i bought an astro a while back advertised as blue wax and blue liquid, when i recieved it the wax turned red imagine the disapointment i didnt have a blue blue lol

I used to own one of these "MAGIC WAX" lamps.
it started life as a blue/blue Astro, when mathmos very first started doing blue/blue lamps, and within about a year, Hey presto, it was a "magic wax" lamp. ;)
