hi guys, i have a blue glitterball baby astro by mathmos, the problem is the wax is sticking to the sides of the vase, would it be worth draining the fluid and wax out of it and give it a thorough clean, would this stop it sticking

They are notorious for sticking and bleeding of the wax.

yes i have an empty bottle, what would be the best thing to use to clean it,
