Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Do Fluidiums in general have a lazy flow with some bubbles here and there? Mine does that, and a lot of the photos on this site have the same thing. Is that common? Just curious before I get another one!

Mine tend to be quite "busy", the newer ones more than the older ones, no matter what bulb I put in.
Depends on wax, transformer, bulb and how long it runs.
They start out lazy but after a number of hours they flow regularly. Snakey, then bubbly, back and forth.
