hi. i saw this and was wondering what it is.
might try to get it off craigslist as i'll be heading to the city where it's offered in a few weeks but i don't know anything about them. they're asking $40....

$40 is reasonable, isn't it?
As long as it's in LIKE NEW condition. Any scratches then I would go for $30/$25. Other than that, it's good! :D

Pop the top and check the color wheel. It's plastic - make sure it's not faded, burned, bubbled. People will leave these on and the plastic will melt.
Yeah, very pretty 90s Fantasia, conical gold-colored base with four different glowing color bars on the lower edge. Nice find, hope you get it. And be gentle with the fibers - kids, pets and bare feet don't mesh with glass fibers.
Fantasia, so much more than your average Fibre Optic Lamp.
