I see that most of the Lava Lite brand bottles have a regular pressed on cap. So if you ever needed to get inside the lamps bottle for repairs or remodels, could you replace the cap and now broken seal with one of these?

Why won't my picture appear?

That should work but do not tighten it too much, its not made for glass and will crack the neck if overtightened.

Has anyone ever used this set up before? I'd rather use the original system, but this strikes me as a bomber alternative, if you aren't concerned about devaluing a real priceless piece. What other alternatives are you using guys? Just curious

Thanks for the advice on recapping and posting pictures.......And now my next question. Where do you get a recapping press and how much do they cost typically? I much appreciate the advice guys. You're awesome! Chris

Excellent buddy! I just need to wait until I get my 4 lava lamps from e bay, to see what size capper I might need. I'll be asking more questions I'm sure, so thank you in advance!
