ok, i have this crestworth copper astro. it has a new globe. i need to pry off the top as it seems to be stuck. why do i need to get it off? well the seller emptied the globe before sending it to me. this was my request from this particular seller

it's a plain metal top. there is no way he glued it on. it's just stuck or jammed on it and i can't pry it off
let me be more clear. the copper top is stuck on the silver cap. i think the only way is to pry it off

i do need to filter another mathmos globe as well but i don't a hair dryer is hot enough. don't craft stores sell heat guns? that would be my best bet i susopect
hot air gun from Home Depot/Lowes/Target should do the trick.
Don't have it too close or the copper will tarnish.
