Very interesting that the Silver Spiunner used KaleidoLite packaging. With an image of the KaleidoLite. My guess is that, after the Consort-type lamps were discontinued (and having tried a motion spinner instead of blinking bulbs in the later KaleidoLites) they used a Century/Saturna footed tray and a Carlisle-type conical base, plus the motion lamp spinner, to create the update. And maybe kept using the old stock of KaleidoLite boxes?
