(Lava Chat) |
Hey all! I'm looking for information on the best way to clean globes that have been emptied of their contents. I can't seem to find a bottle brush narrow enough and long enough to do a scrubbing.
I have emptied out two globes in the past. I used boiling water to get any stray lava out after heating the globes and pouring out the main contents. I used a compressor to blow out any residual water that remained. The compressor has a filter on it to take water out of the compressed air so the globe is relatively dry when cleaned.
Also, are the springs in the pre-China lamps likely to rust or corrode if they are just left in the globe for future filling?
