Early 80's Liquid Motion

Hello Does anyone remember those awesome Drippy maze things that you could find in Spencer gifts?

I am talking about the flat square drip systems that dripped through channels and chambers then when it all reached the bottom you flipped it over to repeat the awesome display.

I have done research and could only find information/photos of the newer liquid motion items that are in round cylinder shaped containers.

If anyone know which ones I am talking about or have a photo of one feel free to display it.

Hello Wizard Of Ooze Thank you Sooooo much for the identification of what I was trying to describe.
This is the actual Item I had when I was a Kid This is what I was looking for its been so long and nobody knew what i was talking about until you shed the light on this subject.

There was one on ebay earlier this month that sold for about $55. I had one and played with it all the time. Quite a bit of fun for such a simple toy.

I used to have a few of these. The only one I have out (might be more in the attic) is a rectangular window in a white plastic case. It has two panels, each with colored oil in yellow liquid, that make interesting bloopy Lava Lite-like effects when turned over. Mine has lost some liquid somehow, though it doesn't appear to have leaked, and looks quite sad now. I may send it in eventually to that wonder of YouTube shows, "Is It A Good Idea To Microwave This?", and watch Jory Caron pop it in his microwave. If I'm very lucky, it'll blow up - they tried a lava lamp bottle once (a Flo-Oozy type) and it went boom, blowing open the microwave door and actually doing damage...though not as much damage as the infamous airbag episode.

I have one of these by Wham-o from 1978 that's still mint sealed in its box. On all the ones I've found in recent years, it seems the liquid contents don't stand the test of time very well. The blue oil-like droplets lose their color and become transparent and the red liquid can fade, evaporate or become thick like gel.

I don't know why but reading this reminded me of the Mercury Maze game I had from 1978. lol
