Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I've never sold anything on Ebay, but I think I might give it a go.  I have 2 lamps that I'd like to get rid of.  They aren't vintage, just lamps I've painted that have an awesome flow.  I just want to get down to just vintage.  Does anyone have any suggestions to get the most out of my auctions.  I just so hate to put them on and have to give them to someone for nothing!  I've included pics of the 2 lamps.  Any advice is appreciated!!

Thanks!

Also, you may consider posting a link to a youtube video of the lamp in action within your description.
You might as well get rid of it for $5-6 on Craigslist

A 52oz weighs around 5 lbs. The globe barely fits in the priority flat box, which will cost $10.35 to ship with bare minimum padding. It will have to be packed to contain the liquid in case of breakage as per postal regulations or you maybe held liable for damage to other mail.

The base will have to ship separately since it won't fit together in flat rate, or you can use a larger box, however you'll be paying the full rate for 6 lbs parcel, which would mostly be in the range of $15-20.

The buyer will be paying $15-20 on top of what it sells for, so it will have to be worth at least that much in buyers point of view for them to even take it for free.

The common ones are available for $20-30 at Spencers and other places, so you're better off not even bothering to ship them.
