frosted bulbs?

where do you get frosted bulbs? i was just at home depot and lowes, and they both had 40w frosted A15 fan bulbs, but not appliance bulbs.. would that be the same/ok?

Yep the 40 watt "fan" A-15 bulbs are the exact bulb, supposedly the "fan" bulbs are slightly more durable to withstand the vibration of a ceiling fan but other than that they are exact and work fine.
