Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Here are 3 of my 4 China 52oz lamps..the blue one on the left may be a bit foggy, but the main problem is the blue liquid is too blue, and you cant see the white goo very well unless its right against the glass.

I bet some here may have encountered this before..can I dilute it with some water/ clear liquid from  to make the blue a bit lighter?

set it outside in the sunlight, or on a sunny window sill. the liquid color will fade, but check it daily because it can fade to clear just a few days.
ah..I'll try that
what do you think about diluting the liquid? or do you think filtering will make a tremendous difference? Ive been runniung it on and off for about two weeks and its pretty much the same..
You can't dilute a lamp. It'll mess up the specific chemical composition of the liquid and it won't flow right.
