What's So Special About This Lamp? - Another One!

Perhaps I am missing something GLARINGLY obvious but what is so special about this lamp to quantify a $125+ dollars?

The lamp appears to be all plastic.  Fibers, base and everything else. It also looks to be China made.  So what am I missing?

Anyone want to guess if the bidder/winner actually pays for it? Lol.

Unintelligent seller trying to bank on the latest selling trend of fiber optics. Too bad it's a cheap lamp! I feel sorry for the schmuck who's about to find out.

If I recall, that buyer is a member here. Lol It is a cheap lamp, not sure why anyone would pay that for it. :shrug:

These super-fine plastic fibers are okay, better than the really coarse ones, but they still glow too much at the bundle/base than glass ones. Base *looks* cheap. No idea why the high price.

Yup, it if wasn't for the massive glowing center on the plastic fiber, they wouldn't be so bad. However that's a deal breaker every time.

Looks like it went for $127.50! Crazy.

Looks like another one has appeared and again, it's price has gone super high. I must be missing something other than the huge MADE IN CHINA words on the bottom of the plastic base.

I wonder if uninformed individuals are confusing them for Fantasia lamps since they do look similar?

the auction "questions" say it is not a fantasia lamp...

Yeah, those weren't there when I looked. Seems people are asking though which is good.

I hope someone doesn't expect much from this lamp. Although, it does look nice for what it is.
