Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Hi, it's a strange question but will the lava flow? The globe fits on my 32 ounce ceramic ICON jester base but it's wobbly and the whole bottom is not within the base. I was going to try to experiment with a non flowing green/clear 52 ounce globe, might even do a 60 watt in it dimmed. I'm not an idiot so I will watch it carefully just I am fed up with the globe and at this point I'll try any base/heat/lamp/dimmer/cycle situation to maybe get it going?

Something is wrong with my globe, my other chinas flow, this one is very fickle, the wax is on the coil, something is wrong with the solution or wax, or it's not getting enough heat.

I'm rambling and this is like 3 questions in one post, if anyone else has any suggestions besides the towel trick or 2 hour cycles for getting a china 52 ounce to flow/for the lava to actually rise up please let me know. I don't open my globes or change solution etc

I've been collecting the lava brand lamps for 15 years so I know what I'm doing just not an expert like most of you!!!

Well this green/clear I bought a year ago, should of returned it immediately but I was preoccupied with my other lamps and life etc
I have a receipt for a yellow/purple I just bought so maybe I'll do a sneaky switch a roo, I have to look if the color is specified on the receipt, I don't think it is, the workers at the Spencers here are dumb, they won't know

This green is really bad I'm gonna try a 60 watt in the regular base... as for running it on the icon it is just a waste of time and I'm scared it will fall over, it does not sit right.

Interesting that you got 32 ounce to work on a 20 ounce base

I'm rambling. I'm gonna fry this sucker and or return the damn thing!

hehehe
Cool line up! I had that Elm Street collection dvd set.

As for my lava woes, they never end...
