VERY top-heavy. Yeah, in most cases 52oz. bottles are wobbly on 32oz. bases. Though not original, the blue plastic roses are cool, and the globe is in great shape, so I'd say it's worth having. Mate that globe to an Aristocrat (gold or white-squiggle), Decorator (white-squiggle with tray) or Century base, or a Coachlite frame, and find a nice 32oz. gold-cap globe for the base, and you've got two nice lamps.
That MIGHT be a 1960s globe! Is there a date sticker visible under the cap? And is it - as it appears - a sort of light red wax in clear (maybe with a slight salmon pink cast) liquid? Also, 60s 52oz. globes had only about 1 1/2" of lava when cold.
