Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

After spending an hour failing at putting the cap back on I have given up and decided to ask for help. No matter what I do I can not get that tie on tight enough to stop it from leaking. I know someone here has to have put the cap back on but I can not find any posts about it.

That is so obvious, why didn't I think of that?! Thanks for the tip.
I just put it on my giant and turned the lamp upside down and its holding without a drop leaking out. Just in case someone else runs into the same problem and finds this thread I used a 24" long zip tie and cut it to length. The cap fits but it sits off to the side because of where the tie comes together, but that is okay since I can just turn the lamp around so nobody will notice it.
