That candle-fired homebrew lamp is kinda cool. Brian, use no higher than 10-15 watts in your Italian glitter. I've seen these in red, orange, gold, two shades of blue, green, maroon, white and black, in three basic forms (small top like yours, large top, ashtray top) in many minor variants. Your style also exists in spun metal. AND yours has the original glitter and most of the liquid! These usually suffer one or more of two problems: the liquid evaporates (yours has lost a little but still looks good, they're more commonly found only half full) and/or the solvent eats the silver coating off the glitter.

I have one of these. Bought from Bohdan. Mine (his) was repainted and refilled. It's the exact same model though.

I though these were distinctly Gallic (French) I stand corrected!
