I would like some advice on how to remove/replace the cap from a second hand Grande that I am going to have a go at rejuvinating.

Cheers Marcel.

Good thing I asked.

Had visions of using a screwdriver and and an upwards sweep with a mallett !!!

Cheers Spence, your tutorial, photo's and video clips will be a great help. Is she still flowing ? The liquid in my old Grande ( blue ) is clear, but the wax (yellow ) just sits flat, sending up a slow stream of small balls. I am going to empty the liquid out and try heating the wax  by placing the globe in a pan of water on the stove, following tips i gleaned from other members pages. Failing that i will try experimenting with epsoms and soap. have done this before on an old astro with some succsess.
