Hi folks,
I want to buy some Mathmos lamps and live in the US.
I do not now the voltage or how many watts I need, but found this on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/VT-100-UK-Converter-Products/dp/B000N54DGO/re...
Is this the right thing, or does anyone have a better suggestion (please provide link where I can buy it :)
Thanks folks :)

I have a couple of these

here is some additional pictorials on how I did it for a larger amount of lamps.
Oh, thanks, but gee, that first one is only 45 watts! is that enough?
Also, will the Mathmos UK webshop ship to the US?
I noticed in their US website they do not have all their lava lamps listed there, and I dont know where to go to
buy their stuff! :\
I have one of their projectors on order from Amazon. The kind that uses the colored oil wheels. I dont know what kind
of AC plug it will have since Amazon didnt say.
I would love to have some of their stuff from their UK website :)

Yeah but maybe not enough for that projector thingy, which I dont even know if I will need a converter or not :\
Will the one in my first post work? I mean, I want a "step up" and not a "step down", right?

The 45w adapter is enough for 1 lamp,. which is fine if I want to put 1 lamp in 1 location.

Thanks, I have something just like that on order but only 100W since I dont think I will want as many LL's as you ;)
Have not found a web sourse for the power strip yet, could you recommend, or maybe link? :)
Be advised you may need the universal power strip which will have the UK to US sockets.
See the related link within this thread and scroll down to the power strip.
Yep, I am looking for one to buy on the internet.
Know were I can buy one?
