Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Okay, so hubby and I have a competition BBQ team called LavaPigs BBQ...  I really want to create a water-based lamp that will float some kind of plastic pigs in it.  I definitely don't want to have one of those "aquarium" lamps, so I need some ideas about how to make the pigs cycle thru the lamp without it looking completely dorky.  Any ideas?

Cheers!  Kelly.

I'm thinking about something like a glitter lamp, so you get the slow motion of the "pigs..."  Not the bubbles, etc. of an aquarium.

Now that'd be fun!  We are having a logo designed...  Wonder if I could get some of the 20 ounce glitter lamps and adhere the logo to the base or globe...  Hmmmmm...  it's a thought!

How about just a pink liquid with white lava lamp and with a pink base and cap then have outlined decals of pigs in different sizes on the globe. A 52z globe would be a nice size to use.  Pigs floating around inside like the aquarium would look not so cool. The other idea would be to get a cookie pig jar like the smiley lava lamps and do the same. Or to keep it simple get a ceramic pig statue and have a pink lava lamp next to it.
