Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I thought it might be fun to tell about any lucky finds.

Here's mine, It was'nt exactly a find though.

A close friend works in a hospice charity shop, a lava lamp was donated but they're not licenced to sell electrical goods and it was going in the trash. She knew of my 'habit' and rescued it for me. It was a cloudy grimy old yellow Hunter. I cleaned it up and replaced the fluid with distilled water, did a bit of tweaking with salt and kids bubble liquid and got it flowing pretty well (as well as Hunters flow anyway).

Shame it was'nt a Crestworth Rocket !

So, thats my jolly tale, whats yours ?

Yes, indeed it is...I was amazed how well the sound reaction works sometimes...seems a bit lazy here and there and I'm sure it depends on the music, but with the right track it's a firework.

Also I was surprised how huge the power adaptor is...it screames 90's.
